Lisa Renner is a mixed-media artist who enjoys the use of products and mediums that allow her to create artwork that is both texturally complex, and integrated with an ever-changing palate of color. Her interests include paper and fabric arts, bookmaking, jewelry, polymer clay, and art dolls. A self-taught artist, Lisa teaches polymer clay and mixed-media workshops nationally, and locally at Stamp Asylum located in Plano, Texas.

Her work has been published in magazines including Belle Amoire, Legacy, Stamper’s Sampler, and Somerset Studio, the latter two honoring her as a Featured Artist. Lisa’s work can also be seen in the books:  Stamp Art by Sharilyn Miller, The Art of Paper Collage by Susan Pickering Rothamel, True Colors, published by Stampington, stampartistry by rice freeman-zachary, The Complete Guide to Altered Imagery by Karen Michel, Alphabetica by Lynne Perrella, and Beyond Paper Dolls by Lynne Perrella.

Lisa’s handmade cigar box purses have been sold in boutiques in Dallas and California, and in art museum shops such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and The Jewish Museum in New York.

Lisa lives in McKinney, Texas with her husband, 2 children, her dog, and 3 very spoiled cats.
